And finally the winds decided to show. For real. All the time. Just the small problem of always seem to have more than the desired "fair winds". We've had no winds, and we've now come across way to much wind. Or perhaps not to much. Just more than what would be sane to sail in. There have therefore been plenty of days just relaxing in the boat, reading and just trying to enjoy the calm life as much as possible. "Calm".

Other than that, we were still keeping steady with Marzemino and Joyride. Choktaw, another boat entered into our lives for a short while but have fallen behind. We've sailed from A Coruña to Camariño, from Camariño to Cabo finisterre. From Cabo finisterre to once again finding us in a Marina Portosin. Cheap and one of the most friendly meetings ever. Got a "free" beer opener, a welcome wine and some vouchers for "free" drinks in the bar. All and all, still the cheapest marina I've had the pleasure of setting the boat on dock in.

The international "Kubb" event (Hosted by us of course!). Colon team did NOT win...

Other than that, not much more have happened. Yeah, we picked mussels and ate them. Still feel fine. I fell and hurt my shoulder so badly i still have difficulties moving it (It's alright mom, it's getting better by the day. No, i don't think a doctor is needed! Mom! No!), We've seen other boats drag on anchor while we ridden out the heavy weather in grace (yeah, well... not so much sleep - but Colon have been more than a treat at these moments). We are still struggling with the out-boarder and we've realized two 100 kg guys in a small dinghy is just not big enough... New Dinghy on the shopping list... Possibly a new out-boarder. But I keep optimistic about it and should be up and running... soon.. I hope. (remember this post when i still say we have out-boarder problems 1 year from now!)

We've planned further for some dates moving forward and feel quite optimistic about the timeline... So far!

14 september - Porto 20 september - Lissabon 1 October - We sail to the canary islands from where we might have dropped anchor (or from marina!) 1 November - We set sail for Brazil. December to January - We go via Brazil to Uruguay February - Argentina March - Chile April - Sailing towards the south pacific islands...

So, all seem quite okay, considering the circumstances. Jonathan is doing absolutely most of the harder work (read; everything from steering, pulling lines, tying shoelaces and tucking me into bed) and are progressing well towards being all other than a land crab.

I finally got my will through - A 4kg Serrano-ham hanging by the pentry in the boat! "Snack time - All the time!"

But all good things have to come to an end. We've let go of our small "family" and left them in the north while we are still headed further south. Marzemino with Nils and Andrea, Joyride with Jonatan and Judith and even Choktaw with Akku and Lise. Sad really to have to leave, but dates and sailing are calling. We are in need to pick up the pace a little at least if we are to make all necessary arrangements prior to setting sail over the big pool of water to the west...

Sailing from one spot to another. Great anchorages all around north western coast of Spain!

We are now in Vigo, headed for Porto tomorrow! Just about 70 nm sail and should just take us over the day... If the weather gods allow for it of course!

Just a fine and not to uneventful couple of days!

Over and out! //Ludvig
