What am I doing here?

I have been thinking a lot lately what i should really write about my journey....

Thats me! I'm Gabor. The other one is also Gabor. But I am the Right Gabor. (See what I did there?)

Colon was definitely something I could not imagine what it was going to be. I have never spent more then one day on a boat before , and suddenly i found myself on a boat trip from Salvador till Ilhéus which took us more or less 2 weeks to achieve as we had some difficulties during the sailing.

It was certainly not Ibiza, where i normally tend to spend my time. But it was raining a lot and the Colon got really wet. Observe the tarp Jonathan had to do as extra coverage!

I am a fast learner, and i learnt fast that this lifestyle requires different life routine to what i had before. Apart from the alcohol consumption, which was probably the only area where i could keep up with the guys. Ludvig and Jonathan just sailed across the ocean when we joined them in Salvador, and honesty I think you truly need to have viking blood in your vain to accomplish such and adventure like this. Not for faint hearted for sure .

During the nights on the boat when we were talking about life with a mug of rum in our hands , it became clear that we all had some pretty intense year behind us , and at some point we all needed some peace in our life , we all needed to do something which put us out of our daily routine and help us to see the world from another prospective. I think we all got what we came for, even though I was not sure at the beginning , why I came at the first place .

But we were not only locked into the boat. We went and saw places!

Having this corona virus situation these days , the trip even make more sense. There are lot of theory about how the world might change as of the virus. Long story short , It seems that actually all of us in the world need to rest now and possibly most of us all had some pretty intense year behind us . Now the world is having its own boat trip , the world stopped , for everyone it is time to go inside just as we did in Brazil with the guys. We just made it before everyone else!

Natural showers in Brazil are wild! But first fresh water shower in weeks is good though!

Full respect and Big hug for Ludvig and Jonathan to host us in Brazil.You guys are something else !

Big thank you for my partner in crime Gabor to organize this trip. I hope Ludvig you are safe and sound where ever you are , have a shot of Rum on me. Wish u fair wind and calm seas..
